1) Reverse your ceiling fan’s rotation
Running your ceiling fan in reverse direction (with the fan blades turning clockwise) will take the rising warm air up and distribute it by force back down to the edges of the room.
Keep in mind, this will only save you money if you turn the thermostat down (about 4 degrees).
To reverse your ceiling fan’s rotation, flip the switch that’s on the base of the ceiling fan.
